Removing Your Inner Pain

Michael Singer's "The Untethered Soul" uses an analogy that is perfect. Imagine that you have a thorn in your arm that directly touches a nerve.

You can do two things. Protect this area so that nothing touches it or remove it completely.

Too often we try to protect our "inner thorn" by creating all kinds of protective devices to keep from touching it. This way we avoid pain. Pretty soon, our lives revolve around protecting our inner pain. Isn't it easier to remove the thorn? Remove the inner pain?

If you don't remove the inner pain then you become responsible for both the issue that caused the pain and everything that you pulled around yourself to avoid it.

This week take some time to identify what your pain is and begin the process of removing this from your life forever.
